Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends:
Just over nine years ago, a group of community leaders came together with Monsignor Joe H. Crosthwait and Monsignor Edward Randall. We took a giant leap of faith and were joined by many others who believed in our leadership team and shared our purpose and our vision for the future. We made a promise for the future to establish one of the very few lay-sponsored Catholic high schools.
Together, we built and opened Pope John XXIII High School, the first new Catholic high School in the Houston area in over 40 years – a refreshing new model of hope for the future of Catholic secondary education. Today, we stand at an exciting point in the history of Pope John XXIII High School. We have come a long way in the five years since we first opened our doors. We have witnessed the graduation of our first two classes, and every graduate has been accepted into college, with over 95% of them getting into their first choice. Our students are prepared for a life of service to God, family, and community through an excellent and challenging program that consists of a college preparatory curriculum with a full spectrum of Advanced Placement opportunities, competitive extracurricular activities, and rigorous faith and character formation.
We have fulfilled the promise we first made nearly ten years ago, a promise made possible by the dedication, commitment, and investment of generous benefactors – by people like YOU!
To continue Fulfilling the Promise, we need your help…
